About
EMSS DropHat 26V1
The DropHat system is a portable RF-emitting training device designed to transmit radio-frequency signals that can be detected from long range. Its primary purpose is to support soldier training by allowing personnel to practice locating, tracking, and ultimately neutralizing an RF-emitting target.
The DropHat enclosure measures approximately 8x8x4 inches and the complete system weighs less than 10 pounds, making it compact and portable for field-training applications.
The main design objective of the system is to reliably output up to 20 watts of RF power at four predetermined target frequencies. The device also includes a built-in cooling fan, LED status indicators that show the current operating state of the system, and a durable aluminum enclosure.
